The most horrible horrible horrible experience I have ever had. We arrived to the room and it was extremely dirty with pieces of chips, chocolate, candy, opened bottle caps on the floor. The room was very old with furniture falling apart and very very worn out. The hotel is in the middle of the city so it’s noisy all night long. There was no air conditioning in the room. I had my cat with me and explicitly asked the room not to be entered when we were gone and not only did they disregard this request, they also left the windows open with my cat inside the room. Everything was so unacceptable. We had to find another hotel the next day. We couldn’t complete the check out because the manager was not there even though it was 12 and many new customers were also trying to check in but couldn’t. The elevator also wasn’t working because when the manager is not in the building it doesn’t work. So we had to carry everything ourselves through the stairs. The manager had given us his number in case something happened but he never returned our calls and we couldn’t reach him for two days. No one else was picking up the phone at the reception either. Their payment system was also not working so they couldn’t complete the payment. We had to go back to the hotel and pay cash. They didn’t even offer a proper discount or show understanding that this situation was nowhere near being acceptable. I really regretted booking this place so much.

Have you seen the movie called "Mystery Train"? This hotel has the same kind of vibe. Love it !! It is located in an amazing location, at the centre. But once you get in the hotel, then you are away from the chaos caused by the city. Feels like coming to a citta slow countryside town. Time gets slower in this hotel. Works like a magic. Imagine that even the guests welcome each other at the breakfast lounge. And the employees, super friendly! Last but not least, the music that is being played at the lobby from this old radio is just fascinated. I will be back my dear friends.

Horrible service, not safe environment.
Owner and the only worker Sasha is always intoxicated (alcohol, I presume), unable to provide basic things - check-in on time, towels for the room and EVEN a keys to the room. In the middle of the night another guest opened the door to my room - because the owner gave her the master key, that opens all the doors (as you remember, he cannot provide normal individuals keys for the guests). Charming experience.
Cherry on the top - in the morning there was no breakfast, because the owner was drunk and asleep.

Whatever you do. Do not Book this hotel. The owner told us if we didn’t have a baby with us he would kick is out. For what? For complaining that the elevator was not working at 10 pm at night. Why? Because the elevator only works when he’s in the hotel. If the owner “sasha” leaves you can not enter your the hotel not your room. With a baby we were stranded outside the hotel. On top of that we were told there was parking included. When we arrived parking is a few blocks away from the hotel or park garages where you have to pay. With a stroller and luggage this is overall just a disaster. We changed hotels in the middle of the night. And he still is yet to refund us our money. Because we spent 5 minutes in the room overall. So if your reading sasha we would like our 140€ back. Like you promised us.
This is not how you run a business let alone a hotel!!!!

The owner is a very very rude old man my room wasn’t ready for check in till 7 pm (19:00) when i first arrived i have been told that my room will be done 30 mints I dropped my bag in the room which was very dirty and full of cigarettes ashes, anyway i left and came back at 7pm (after 4 hours) room wasn’t clean yet, imagine you can’t check in your room till 7 pm on your arrival day i told the owner how could this be he told me if you don’t like our hotel leave!! I stormed out dragging by bags looking for another hotel. Worst experience actually I don’t know how such a man is running a business !!

Booked this thru Agoda but to our dismay it is the worst of our Germany trip. Agoda information is not accurate and to make matter worst- it is a one man show. You can’t do early check in and check in time is after 2pm. We got our room at 6:45pm. Mr Sascha run the hotel, he is the front desk, the chambermaid and the security. We got our room without pillow, blankets plus a toilet brush(according to him it was new). One pillow came at 8pm and the other one at 11pm with the blanket. We booked 2 nights but I couldn’t sleep at all, the room is without aircon and it was really near road side. The next morning, we spoken to Mr Sascha as we like to check out. He was really understanding, telling us no problem. He will agree to refund the money back. 1 mth back home, we have not gotten our refund/ there is no response from him when we whatapps him, Agoda couldn’t get a reply from him. We were very empathetic when he was running one man show but now I think he is just scamming people. Stay at your risk. Super not worth the stress.

They do not even deserve one star!

Yesterday when I checked into the hotel, I met the reception (Zentrum Hotel), who did not speak any English at all. I even brought a colleague to my hotel to speak with the reception, but it turns out he BARELY spoke German as well. He informed us that he cannot make me any keys for my hotel room since the person who makes the keys won’t come in because there weren’t enough guests at the hotel (go figure). He told me to come back in 2-hours to check for the key. I came back several times and even called and never received a key, so he told me to call when I want to enter my room at night. So I came back, quite late at night after spending time with friends only to find that the hotel was not responding to me and I was stranded in the middle of Germany with no place to sleep!

Despicable business!
