Most unfriendly staff I've ever seen in my life! I came to the ER due to a chronic urticaria, my whole body was itching and swelling red. They could clearly see it, because I wore a dress. But nobody cared about me, after 6 hours in the waiting area (I have to mention that they tried to ignore me many times), they called me to an empty room where I had to wait another 30min for the doctor. Finally he gave me an infusion and said he'd come back after 15min. As expected nobody came and I never saw this doctor again. I waited almost an hour, so I decided to go to the hallway to look for a nurse. Unlucky me I felt dizzy and almost collapsed. A male nurse came yelling to me and scolded at me loud! I was in great shock how rude and disrespectful he was. Never ever did a stranger yell at me like this before! I felt extremely helpless and angry. He brought me to another room with more people. My husband who was still in the waiting area had absolutely no idea what was going on. I asked the male nurse if my husband could accompany me, he said it wasn't allowed. Then I got another infusion, there I asked a female nurse if my husband was allowed to be here too, she said yes no problem, so the male nurse lied to me. I spent almost 9 hour in the clinic for two infusions.
That was my first visit in this “hell of a nightmare” hospital. To be honest, it is not even worth one star.

I had an induction here at 37 weeks pregnant with a small baby. On the positive side, I gave birth safely and successfully to my baby. I was only minimally injured and have healed well.

However, when the placenta did not come out after the birth, it was removed manually without any painkillers and without a clear explanation of what was going to happen. This procedure is normally done with an epidural or full anesthesia. It was extremely painful and was not noted in my birth notes or in the Mutterpass. I had to mention it to my gynecologist to ensure proper follow up care. I was also denied painkillers throughout the entire 16 hour labour and never made it into an actual birth room, but gave birth in a heart rate monitoring room.

Following the birth, my baby and I stayed for several days. My experience was mixed with some nurses/midwives being amazing and others very dismissive.

Waited for two+ hours to do an X-ray as I hurt my arm and all they told me is that everything is fine. Didn’t offer any explanation as to what is wrong or how long until I recover. I definitely need a sling for it yet they didn’t offer one. Then at the end they insisted I must pay €90 for treatment even though I had an EHIC. When I argued with the receptionist about having to pay she asked me to speak to her colleague. The colleague asked me if Ireland was in the EU and when I told her it was she said I didn’t have to pay. I’m going to have to revisit another hospital as soon as I get home because they were utterly useless here.

Unfortunately our experience as a private patient with the Eye Clinic is worse than expected. Even well-known experienced doctors make mistakes, patient is not well-treated, over charged for basic services, delays up to 8 months in getting payment receipts. As a result, the patient still suffers from the same illness, no slight improvement from the surgery that cost a fortune! Very dissapointed and not recommended for critical conditions.

Terrible experience. Terrible doctors. I had to ask the doctor to check me again, otherwise he would have never realized my finger was broken. He spent more time writing on the computer than actually checking me. You are left without anyone saying anything to you in the middle of the floor, waiting. And I was brought in an emergency. People give no explanations and are really not helpfull. It was a miserable experience.

My first experience here was ok but my second experience was awful! I had a mass in my breast. I called my own doctor but she was on holiday and the earliest appointment that she could give me was in one month! I tried to get another appointment from other doctors but many of them were also in vacation or they didn’t accept new patients! I was so scared cause I could feel that the mass is becoming bigger. I went to this Clinique at 7pm and after waiting for long time they told me that I have to go to the Gynecology building. The whole building was so dark and no one was there! Finally I could find someone and they told me that they cannot accept me without an appointment! They asked me to call a specific number tomorrow and ask for an appointment. After trying for almost 2,5 hours to call them, a woman took the phone and I asked if I can speak in English. She said no and nobody here can speak English (in German) and hanged up the phone! This was the rudest behavior and conversation from a service organization that I’ve ever faced! I tried to call them again and I tried to speak in German. Finally they told me that they cannot accept me without a brief or note from my doctor!
Where should ppl go when they don’t have access to any doctor?!! How can a hospital treat ppl like this?!!
It’s totally embarrassing!!!

I just suffered a case where the emergency person was completely racist to me. I came because I had an accident on my bike on my way to work and the emergency person refused to even talk to me. He asked me to sit without even taking my name. I sat for 30 minutes until 2 people went before me. He was super nice to a German lady in front and then start yelling to a foreign student that came after (he was clearly in pain). I should have been done fast, but I suffered mistreatment by several personnel (including doctors) in this place. And the cherry on top was the racist guy in the emergency room. Overall, I hope this hospital Management starts learning the importance of hiring compassionate, qualified people.
