We had the 5 course surprise menu and everything was really well presented and delicious. There is a long wine list too, and we had a great white. Reasonably priced too.

A very nice restaurant with interesting Austrian food. The atmosphere is nice even though the location next one of the big streets is not the best.
The staff is very kind and friendly. If you are looking for something to eat that you might not have eaten before at least at this standard the Rubens is definitely an option. They serve the best Wiener Schnitzel I have had in my life.

Star Restaurant at fair prices; 4 or 5,6 course menus ~ 60eur. Traditional Austrian German cuisine. Excellent wine bar. You can sit outside in summer, but close to the street a bit noisy.

Authentic Austrian cuisine with a twist
Great selection of superb Austrian wines
Relaxed cozy atmosphere
Friendly and attentive staff

I can highly recommend it to anyone staying in or visiting Düsseldorf ????

Just delightful and the best possible choice for my first night in Germany. Not only was the food delicious (the 5 dish mix of little appetizers was DIVINE) but everyone I interacted with - from Connie the owner to the waitress to the person who cleared the table - was tremendously warm, welcoming and friendly and clearly cared. I will definitely be back!

Please order the 48-hour Pork Belly in Plum BBQ sauce. Amazing! And the Wiener Schnitzel too!
