This place is an amazing museum and is free entry. Nearly everything is written in german but they provide a free English audio guide with a deposit (the audio guide is very good!) they current exhibition is very well put together and has so much information- I learnt a lot of new information - I definitely recommend. There’s a lot of information so I came over multiple visits

Free entry, lots of detailed displays, fantastic guide. Our class came for the tour on field trip and there's definitely more here than can be seen in 1.5 hours. The underground bunker is a must-see, and I like that there are so many individual accounts from the city. The voice recording is particularly moving. We didn't take photos, obviously.

Great little free museum in the city center looking at the effect of war before, during and after on the children of Germany.

Audio guide a must if you don't read German as a lot of it is not in English.
Can get through it in about 90 mins.

I was really impressed with this place. It's small but very detailed when it comes to describing the life of the people (especially the Jewish) in Dusseldorf during the Second World War. The English audio guide is well narrated and the graphic design of the information is very well done.
