Was in Dusseldorf twice in a weeks time and they were very, very good to me. Excellent steaks (they offer many types from various regions and countries). I appreciate a waiter who, after I choose the cut says, "Medium rare, or rare?" Smart waiter. To me, well done is a hamburger. Wines are well chosen and reasonably priced. Beer is standard fare, but with a local IPA thrown in. Very good. It is a bit pricey, but the sides are wonderful and the service will not disappoint. I heartily reccommend. EDIT.
Next dinner was a disaster on a Saturday night. The Belgian rib eye cannot be cooked rare. It is inedible. The sides were fine, actually very good. The bread was cut into small bites destroying the mix of sweet and salty I loved before. Creme brulee was delivered cold, and pre-torched. Better if they torch it just prior to serving. However, when questioned the steak was removed from the bill. I give great credit for honesty of a business. My score stands because they should not be punished for errors they correct. I will return. Good job.
