The food had a homey spin but unfortunately I didn’t feel very at home. We where a group of three and ordered two soups and a Charlotte royal. The soups came fairly quickly and where very nice but no sign of that slice of cake. I then got it with quiet a bit of delay.

Came here just for pastries and coffee. Tried the Forest Cake and it was a bit bland, but not terrible. Haven't tasted this cake anywhere else so I'm not sure if that's what it's supposed to taste like. Staff was welcoming and the service was fast.

Quality was very good, cheesecake was so fresh and delicious, the coffee was also fine,
Quality/Price ✅
The only reason that I didn’t give them 5star is the waiter, he was not welcome at all
But I’ll go back there again and highly recommended ????????

Visiting Dusseldorf, one has to be in this establishment to get a taste from their beautiful home made cakes, pastries, coffee, teas, or anything else one can find on their menu. Operated since 1932. On the ground floor all delicatessen are available to purchase.

Classic german shop. You choose what cake you want downstairs, and order everything else upstairs- at the cafe. Absolutely delicious and fresh!
