My first time into Europe, into Germany. I do not speak German. The front desk was very helpful with my questions and needs. There is a young man who works at night. He was most accommodating. My first day I just crashed and when I woke up realized that Germany used different outlets. He ensured that I got adapters for my room. The front desk was my point of contact as I navigated the city and again cordial and helpful with a definite resolve.

Breakfast was part of my stay. The breakfast area has a nice ambiance. Somewhat tranquil.
Glassed area with a view of a flowering garden.. The area was clean, the staff was always circulating. The breakfast offerings were well presented. I enjoy fruit and coffee and was happy with the selection offered. There was also a variety of bread, cheese, juices, coffee, meat, varied hot cereal and other offerings.

I received a transportation ticket for the duration of my stay that was very valuable for the duration of my stay. The train stops in front of the hotel. The hotel is also walking distance to an hbf. Basically transportation at your fingertips.

In walking distance - 15 mins or so I discovered good restaurants. I wear Birkenstock every summer. 2 stops on the train and a 10 min walk you are in a good shopping district. That said the hotel has a good location vantage point.

Room service was adequate. I allowed housekeeping every other day in my room to clean and change towels.. When they came they did a good job.

Overall good experience. As a woman traveling alone I felt safe there. Will utilize as an option when I return to Germany.

Staff were great, hotel was clean and fresh. Vending machine downstairs was great. Location was near train station for convenience but lots of homeless outside.

The room faces the road, so the traffic is very noisy. There was a tremor as the tram passed. At two or three o 'clock in the morning, there are drunk people or teenagers singing or playing music outside. It's very noisy. I didn't fall asleep until four in the morning, and I had an exam at nine. And the bed was full of bugs. Hand sanitizer is so hard to get, I still don't know how to get it. The tax is 72 euros a night, while the hotel behind it is 50 euros a night. I really don't know why Germany has such high taxes, France and Spain only three or seven euros a night.

The old receptionist of this hotel who was in charge of around 1am on 27 July 2022 was very rude and unprofessional, and we were really uncomfortable to be treated when checking in. That was the worst experience I’ve ever had at hotel receptions. I highly recommend not to choose this hotel to ensure your comfortable and enjoyable stay in this city.

This hotel was a great value! The hotel came with free transit cards to use all throughout the city and region, which was super convenient. The front desk staff member was amazing- she gave us excellent restaurant recommendations and an overview of the city. The hotel even had free umbrellas to use for when it was calling for rain. The hotel rooms were very spacious- the most spacious rooms we had in our entire Europe trip. The hotel was in a great location, with a streetcar stop located directly outside the hotel and walking distance to the train station. It was a great stay at this hotel!
