I stayed at Hotel Rubin over the past few days and it was a great experience. The hotel owners/managers were very kind and the same applies to the rest of their staff. They even offered a coffee and an umbrella when the rain started. My room was quite bit and has plenty of space and good view. Although the hotel is located in the main road, it felt pretty peaceful when I was in my room.
Location: only 20 minute walk from Konnigsalle and the riverside. So great walk after a drink or after having food.
Would go back!

Very clean, and room got organised daily ( I had single room with my own bathroom)
Pleasantly surprised, I highly recommend.
Manager lovely.

This is a nice easy hotel option. The room was very clean and a good size. We even got complimentary breakfast because it was one of our birthdays. It's a good 15 minute walk from the station and a far walking distance from the city center

To summarise, it's nice. Good location - okay walking distance from the stores and nice places to see. The room was good and the service as well. Good place to stay as a tourist. The price was also pretty good. Nothing bad to say, but I also can't say the experience was exceptional.

This was the 8th time over a course of 2 years that I stayed at hotel Rubin. The staff is super friendly en helpfull. Want to go downtown? The streetcar (tram) stops right in front of the hotel. Want something different with the allready great breakfast? No problem.

The rooms are good and clean. It even has a parking garage (6 euro per day which is a bargain in Düsseldorf) within walking distance.

Is there no downside? Yes but only one. Due to the fact that it's located at a very busy street the rooms on the front side are noisy if you want to sleep with an open window. I therefore always book a room at the back.

Nice hotel at a very good location. Parking was available, but it was across the street at a location that was a little annoying to get out of. Breakfast was available at extra cost, but we did not include breakfast with our stay.

Really good breakfast, big buffet. Nice staff. The rooms are really clean. I never paid so little money for this services. ;)
