Only tried the gelato there, I think because it’s not summer so they didn’t have many options. Tried lemon (which as nice and strong flavored) and strawberry (little tasteless for my taste). Very expensive for the quality: € 5 euros for a small cone with two flavors. I don’t think there cost x benefit since you can find a lot of really cool places in Düsseldorf with good prices and food.

At least the atmosphere of a Cafe by the Rhine river is nice and the people there as well.

EXPENSIVE! Almost paid 40 euro’s for two ice dessert’s and one water. We asked for tap water and got a bottle instead. When you open the menu and see these delicious options you don’t see any prices next to them. I don’t know how much you pay for a cone, but this is insane considering how affordable every other place around the area is. To me this feels like a scam and something no one should support. The people are friendly, but one person who seems to be the manager is just standing around and watching people. I don’t understand why they are so overpriced, because the quality is mediocre and location is very nice, so even using normal prices would make you a fortune.

Goodbye and till never.

Also I and my family had a bad experience. The promotion materials suggest a stellar ice cream expert and the price screams premium. Finally the taste and the looks are below average, yet price remains premium. We went into arguing with staff when we pointed to the poor quality vs promotion material. Walked finally away without paying. Definitely a tourist trap!

I had a giant Sundae with fruit, so big that was enough for 2 people. The price was not cheap, but it was because of the location by the river, good ice cream. We had a nice time.

The prices are ridiculously high and the waiters are unfriendly, telling us that you couldn't purchase just one scoop of icecream but need to order at least two. At least the lemon icecream was tasty.

Unfriendly service, best pricy (because tourist spot and good view) they dont accept debit payment, so you need CASH! atm is not in the corner, so you need to walk far, toilet is not clean and they dont refill the toilet paper, so you need to bring your own toilet paper. The dessert i might say its ok, but since they are unfriendly and expensive, i dont want to come anymore.

They had blocked the road and asked us to buy something to get through. Although the deck might be theirs, and they might have a right to do that, the way they did was extremely unfriendly, even though we hadn't even stepped in yet. The price was high, the quality of the coffee was poor, the attitude was bad. Avoid it if possible
