A relaxed beergarten with great views of the river and the old town. I've never had the food here but have stopped several times for a beer and always found it quite pleasant. I like that drinks are served in real glasses without having to pay a deposit, unlike the much busier/noisier Augustgarten opposite.

I always avoided this place because the red lights at night are really creepy (maybe consider a different color?), but we came early this time and I'm sad I never came before! Gorgeous view of Dresden and the radler was perfect! The staff were all so friendly! Will be back!

Terrible service, sub par food.
Ordered (2 sausages and a plate of chips). 50 mins later they call me to pick up a sausage and potato salad. Complain. Order again. 10 mins later they call me to pick up and now they got the type of sausage wrong (they gave me a blood sausage that I didn't order). It wasn't even busy the whole time I was here. Utter incompetence.

Nice beer garden with a nice view and river front lawn. Unfortunately the food was terrible. Boring, old potato salad and cold, undercooked chips.

Only the view is nice. Bad experience, food not good. Staff not friendly. Go somewhere else
