It's a good local place for live music. Two things that standout though - lack of seating and a pricey menu (with only two bar food options). If you like the style of music and small ambience, it's a good place when free!

Warm, chatty, friendly, welcoming, and vibrant. domicil was certainly the place where the party was at on Museum Nacht in Dortmund this year!

Not just by my personal opinion, but according to the renowned jazz music magazine Down Beat as well, one of the best jazz venues in the world. Definitely the best bar in the city with excellent drinks, a cozy atmosphere, and new specials every other week.

Love Domicil, beautiful ambience, descent crowd, awesome live music. I didn't visit this place since long, but once I had been, and it became regular. It's warm and never felt that I am a foreigner there. Highly recommended venue, if some one is looking for live music with cocktails. Polite staff. Would always miss this place. Most of the Mondays have free live music. Live musicevents on other days with entry fees , which is worth for sure. Drinks not included in entry fees so buy your drink at the bar. A room to put on your jackets at mostly 1 euro which is reasonable. When I was new to this bar , the staff helped me every time. Above all lovely and descent visitors here makes it the best venue. Must visit. Not to alcohol, but addicted to Domicil.

Chill loungy bar downstairs and stage and concert space upstairs. Good music events that take place regularly. Prices are fair for a nicer place to head out to in Dortmund

Live music. Great ambience. Crowded at most of the time. The crowd here is really good. But is kind of expensive. Closely located to the city center.
