If you love your football, 9 ball pool then you are going to love this place.. extremely friendly bar owner, went several times over the course of 3 days. Even had a birthday drink on the owner as it was the same date as his !! 14th April and the day we went in to his bar..

Such an amazing place to go and relax and have fun. Great service from the lads working in here. Atmosphere is good in this place, shisha, drinks, and snacks available. Good way to unwind after a busy day.

Friendly place with good service. Sports Arena is the only bar in Dortmund area showing english football. The owner Ali is very service minded and arranged a custom solution to allow us watch the game we wanted. The place is also good for a game of pool and you only pay for the time used.

Definitely would recommend
Very friendly staff
We asked if we can watch premier league match - no problem at all and it's not even on tv it's projected on the whole wall!!
Very good beer and not pricey at all!
It's in the heart of Dortmund, you can't be closer to the city centre
If you want to watch English league that's the place to be!

Found this hidden gem while on a recent trip to Dortmund. It's a sports bar that offers American style pool tables, air hockey as well as Sky Sports football. It's probably one of the only places in Dortmund that shows live English Premier League matches (believe me, we searched all over) and nowhere came as close as this. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well as being genuine nice people. The atmosphere here is very pleasant and easy going and the 'regulars' were equally the same. Trust me, if you're an avid fan of English Football or the Bundesliga, this is the place to be and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Drinks are very reasonably priced and it is situated in an easy to access location. Definitely worth a visit.

Cool place to come to play some pool. American style tables all in good condition. It was about €6.50 per hour.
They've a bar, fruit machines, air hockey and offer shisha.
