The price was competitive compared to other hotels nearby. The location is perfect being 5mins from the Technology Park Sbahn and 3 stops (10mins) to Köln Central Station.. Has nearby supermarkets and the room is ok with small kitchen, tv and other basic facilities. The hotel is located on a super busy street with not so good road. So the cars / trucks that pass by make 3x the noise due to that. You have to ensure that you have earplugs. It was way too noisy during our 4 nights stay. There is no lift in this hotel, so if you happen to have heavy suitcases, then good luck. I think there are other better hotels that you can find. I would rather spend extra €50 to have a more comfortable stay. I don't recommend this hotel.

A lot of noise, very hot without AC. No fridge or even a cup to have some water. Room is clean though and a lot of space. Would not recommend for a business trip but it’s fine if you’re going for a night out.

The hotel is just three stops with S-Bahn from the city centre. My room was decent but could be improved. Clean, very warm and silent: these are the things I appreciated the most. On the other side, the hotel has no lift and this was very annoying especially if you are travelling with two big suitcases and your room is on the 3rd floor! No other mirror was provided, except the one in the bathrooom. Breakfast was good and quite rich, I didn't like that it was served in another building over the backyard.

Location was ok, close to train station and walking distance to Rheinenergie stadion if going there for a concert and Lidl right across the road. However there is nothing in the area, nowhere to eat or drink so a trip on the train needed just for dinner.

Whilst we were there during a heatwave the room was horrendously hot and stuffy. With the window open the noise from the road was constant. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. It’s basically a hostel at hotel prices. For a one night stay it’s ok, any more than that and it’s a bit too cheap and nasty.

We booked this hotel the same day and did not see the information that check-in is only until 7pm, otherwise there is a fee of 25 Euros! When we arrived at 9pm, no one was at the hotel and we could not reach anyone via phone or mail, not even to pay the extra fee. So we had to book a different place and still had to pay the FULL PRICE. Absolutely inacceptable service.

Bed bugs! Found one in my bed. Woke up the next day with several bites along my left arm. With nobody at reception that day, I couldn't change rooms. It was very inconvenient to need to wash all my clothes to ensure I didn't bring bugs home with me later.

Aside from that, the room was fine. Very budget-oriented. Looking back, I wish I had spent more on higher quality.

Simple hôtel, clean and good for a business stay. The breakfast is in another building and you have to go outside first. A bit expensive for what was provided but good bread. Free WiFi, working well.
