I received an email from sixt as I had used them before with a discount offer. I reserved a vehicle months in advance for a date in October. Due to a flight delay, and a cancelled train, I was just under 2 hours late for my rental. No one contacted me to let me know they’d cancelled it. When we arrived they stated they had given my car away, and that they only had a small two door car which according to the girl at the counter “probably won’t” fit our luggage. Being as we were desperate we said we’d take it, assuming it would be at the same price as the significantly bigger / nicer car we had reserved. When I asked I was shocked to learn she wanted to charge us double. When I asked if there was a manager, or any other car rental places around, she said no. We ended up finding an enterprise next door that went out of their way to help us. We rented cars on two additional occasions on our holiday, and specifically stayed away from sixt. Won’t ever use them again.

Worst worst Place to hire a car!
Never use them!! My friend came there to hire a car after a long journey , They said they don't have any cars, my friend toId them i see outside 15 cars, the guy at the counter said those care are for tomorrow booking, so he said I have already a booking 2 weeks for tonight they said I don't care I am deciding who gets tbe cars yours is cancelled, now go out you see where the door is! My Freind order a über and left the station! Never use a downtown location that u can rent 24 hours!!! Look other people reviews they had the same problem at this location so when you book a car don't rely on them.

Worst service ever. I booked a BMW 435, a 3L twin turbo 300HP gasoline, real wheel drive sports coupe, and they wanted to give me an Audi A5.. a 2L 218HP DIESEL, Front-wheel-drive, 4-DOOR sedan!!! They called it similar to the BMW sportscar. When I, frustrated and disappointed, tried to explain that I need a sports car for this very special day, they wouldn’t understand nor help. Instead of offering me a solution, they shouted back at me, kicked me out and cancelled my reservation. I had to go next door and luckily was able to rent a Range Rover at Enterprise Car rental. Horrible service, very unfriendly, not customer nor solution oriented. This is the first time I’m so deeply disappointed at Sixt. Next time I need a sportscar, I will book at the Sixt Airport, hopefully there they will be able to offer me the needed service.
The service I always obtained from Sixt worldwide when renting a sports / luxury premium vehicle. A service that I expect when paying +200€ a day....

I reserved a car 1 month ago, for September 24, I receive an email telling me that my reservation and canceled, without giving me any other solution, it is not professional.
I am very disappointed that I was not given any solution, no call to tell me that the rental is not available, only 2 days before.

Not only was the reserved car not ready and we had to wait quite a while for it, I also got charged a whole second day for returning it u003c20 minutes late. Also the only exit was blocked with other cars of them, both times when we wanted to leave.

We were forwarded to this location (which is 1 hour away) after our internet reservation at a different Sixt center was completely and silently ignored. We reserved a small 2-person car for a weekend holiday. After 15 minutes of wait under the midday sun, they told us that all they had were 9-seats transporters, which for us would be completely out of the question. The same happened to the two groups in front. No call, no email, no "we ran out of cars" sign to keep us from waiting, nothing. We'll never book from Sixt again.
