We have eaten in many Indian restaurants and love Indian food but the food here wasn't good. The chicken curry was very saltly. They changed it but it was almost the same. We wanted to cancel the dish but that was not possible and we were told that we are the fist customers complaining about this which I find hard to believe. After changing it for the 2nd time it wasn't salty anymore but not good either so we left most of the food. To summarize, the price/quality of the food was bad so if you would like to have good Indian food it's better to find another restaurant.

The food is completely not like an Indian taste, unfortunately it's Bengali Resturant and maybe he use Taj Mahal as a name to attract people ☹️

Pathetic food! Neither the owner nor the waiter was interested in taking the orders or serving properly! For everything the waiter had to say" I am new, I don't know".Total waste of money. Moreover the food was the biggest spoiler. There were lumps in the rice, very much clear that it was stale. The gravies were more worse. Kofte were like stones and tasteless.
Rating is somewhat less than 1 also

It is NOT a Pakistani or Indian Restaurant! It is straight up Bengali restaurant, ( for correction)
But terrible food topped with awe full customer service!
It takes a lot to get me food poison but some how this place was dirty enough to beat my immune system and made me see the doctor!
The waiter was so rude, we over heard him yelling at two old ladies!
It was a Bad Bad Bad pick! Not coming here ever gain!

The food doesn't taste anything like Indian. The restaurant claims that it's older than 30 years but the improvement in the food quality is yet to start. Eating here would ruin your experience of visiting Köln.
