The hotel is really close to HBf and as my attendance was for business, I find it hospitable and decent in terms of overall services and food. I would have wished for a slightly bigger bed for single occupancy rooms though. Otherwise, everything appeared perfect!

The location is nice, it was one of the reasons I chose it.
But I didn't like the reception staff attitude, although I arrived in the afternoon after 15:00 local time, I felt like I was bothering them. One of the rooms wasn't ready, the one that was ready was the wrong one, I had to make some tours between 5th floor and reception to obtain thr right room.

The only thing that is 4 stars in the hotel is the bed. Very comfortable.

Cosy but Small rooms compared to others in same league. Very centrally located. Easy access to market, restaurants, shopping arcades. Good food and friendly receptionist.

We paid extra for an extra large double bed but were only given 2 single duvets? We could have paid less money and been far more comfortable and shared a duvet. Not exactly a romantic getaway when you have to sleep separately under 2 single duvets. People shouldn't be charged extra for a bed they cannot dress comfortably....and then just say "no" when asked for an extra larger blanket. Super weird. Other than the beds situation the hotel staff were nice and then hotel kept very clean.

A clean, quiet and perfect hotel in a nice part of Köln (Colonge).

I would have left “0” stars but at least 1 is required. Hopefully this message finds the owner of the hotel because they clearly have no communication with their staff. My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights while traveling through Germany. I’ll point out the positives first. It is centrally located in Cologne, and fairly clean. However the customer service will make you want to avoid this place. My wife and I came down to the hotel bar where she tried to order a tea. The receptionist told us the machine for tea was broken? It was not possible for tea. She seemed really inconvenienced by it and continued to drown us out with her music/ or cell phone behind the desk. Early Monday morning before our checkout, we were abruptly woken up by construction drilling and hammers. Our train out of Cologne was not until the afternoon so I called down to reception to ask if a 12-noon checkout would be possible and also is there construction. The front desk seemed “clueless” about anything and refused to offer a noon checkout unless we pay an additional €15.00 euro. A few moments later I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor. The same front desk receptionist claimed she was the front desk manager and she would not allow this because she has already made plans for the cleaning service for the room. At this point the construction was so loud it was not even worth paying or staying in the noise. Upon leaving our room we open our door to construction everywhere on the entire 3rd floor. Makes sense to match the noise we had. We took many pictures of this. Checking out from the main lobby entrance, the same “front desk manager” who I spoke to twice about the construction, was either acting “clueless” about anything happening on the 3rd floor. My wife and I showed her the photos. She quickly tried to take away from the bar tab we had charged to the room. We asked for a detailed receipt before payment she said not possible but flipped her screen on to the desk to find more hidden charges that we had to dispute. We were so turned off we checked out and took a taxi away from this place feeling cheated. I would not recommend a stay here even to a friend or accomplice. There are far better options in central Cologne

The hotel is spacious, clean and modern. I don't know the price it was booked for work. The only reason for 3 stars was because the bed was very uncomfortable and very hard. For some reason, like quite a few hotels in cologne, the bedding was too small I did not sleep well.
