Fantastic experience! Highly recommended! We took the morning slot although we needed to get up very early. But the preparation for start, the introduction by Joachim - everything was perfect and relaxed. The flight is a must-have experience in life! Even suitable for people how are afraid to fly in general! Very calm! Even after landing, we had a good time by packing the balloon and chatting about current and past experiences!

The event was marvellous. The pilot was very senior and had a lot of funny stories to share. For me it was the first ride so anything (setup, start, cruise, land, and packaging) was very exciting.
I took one star of because of the long waiting time until my ride could happen. It took me over two years and about 10 attempts until it really happened. So my recommendation is just stay patient and wait until the weather conditions really fit.

The worst experience and the worst service I have ever had. I bought tickets as a gift for my boyfriend a year ago. But it seems we will never use them. Our balloon trip was already canceled 3 times...due to the weather reasons. But the weather was perfect those days. Like there were other balloons in the sky..So the other companies could have made it. There are almost no dates available, so you get the one in 4 months and wait for this magic day and then when finally 4 months has passed they will send you an sms (which is all the time the same one) that your trip is canceled. Moreover, if you want to get a new appointment, It will take ages to get through to the hot line and reschedule it! I would be happy to get my money back, cause I paid fortune for that, but they say I can not get it back. Maybe there are still some decent companies, which provide good service and Ballonfahrt experience..But it is definitely not about THIS company. THINK TWICE before BUYING TICKETS HERE!!!!!!

It is very clear that the many of the positive reviews are fake. The people in charge of this company should be ashamed of themselves.

Stay away....

We booked a flight for a Sunday morning 4-5 weeks in advance. I felt like I had won the lottery, since I got through on their booking hotline on the first attempt. For a morning flight, they are supposed to confirm the night before (after 21:00), stating where the flight is to commence. Of course, there is no number you can call. You just wait for that SMS to arrive. We did not hear anything from them until Sunday at 13:00... an SMS stating the our evening (!) flight had been cancelled due to inclement weather. The weather in the morning had been beautiful! Too bad Skytours did not hold to their promise of a morning flight.

They are not onest! I booked balloon flight on a specific date (28 June) and I received a message on the date of the flight that it was cancelled. After some weeks when I wanted to make a new booking, they told me it is not possible because I didn't respect a previous booking that was made three days before the previous date (23 June).
Now they cancelled my vouchers and I lost 380 euro.
I have the proof and they still insist on they variant.

Advice: Never buy vouchers from them!

To experience the view and the whole experience including assembly and disassembly was really unique. The pilot and the team were super nice and you felt very well looked after. Everything was explained very well, you were allowed to "hands on" yourself and the pilot also had some funny and interesting stories to tell. We were actually lucky that it worked out on the third appointment. A second balloon was spontaneously used for this appointment and we were asked if we spontaneously had time. So it worked out really well for us.

Wir haben eine Ballon-Fahrt am Morgen mitgemacht und es war wirklich sehr gut. Das frühe Aufstehen hat sich definitiv gelohnt. Die Aussicht und das ganze Erlebnis inklusive Auf- und Abbau mal mitzuerleben war wirklich einmalig. Der Pilot und das Team waren super nett und man hat sich sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Man hat alles sehr gut erklärt bekommen, durfte selber mit "anpacken" und der Pilot hatte auch einige lustige und interessante Geschichten zu erzählen. Wir hatten tatsächlich das Glück, dass es beim dritten Termin geklappt hat. Es wurde für diesen Termin spontan ein zweiter Ballon eingesetzt und wir wurden gefragt, ob wir spontan Zeit hätten. Von daher hat das für uns ganz gut gepasst.
