Rheinauhafen

The Rheinauhafen is a gentrified area in what was the historic port and harbour area of the city. Much of the area seems to be offices for high tech and creative companies as well as the as attractions like the German Sport u0026 Olympia Museum, the margins and the inverted L-shaped Kranhauser buildings. A lovely area for walking about, although it's quite quiet in the evenings and weekends.

The Kranhauser buildings are a bit ugly to be honest

These are very cool buildings and I think have recently won a design award. I got the chance to get inside as I was visiting a company so I also got to enjoy the views. Not sure whether just walking by offers something special unless one has a keen interest in architecture. Unless you can get in and enjoy the views independently to make ot worthwhile.

Amazing feeling to go there for a stroll. Nice small shops, clean walkway also on the Riverside. Even along the way are some information about the Rheinauhafen back in the days

Great place to take some walks. Nice buildings/architectures. Modern n old. Great shops and restaurants too.
