This place was just awful. I have no idea how it got a higher rating. Perhaps Europeans are not aware of a good steak? This was far worse than North American chain restaurants. The steak (rib eye) was barely warm when it arrived, the meat was tough despite having it medium, and it was completely bland. The accompanying mashed potatoes were rubbery without that delicious buttery flavour. The bottled still water was room temperature and the glass was worn and scuffed (side rant: why are Germans against simple tap ice water?? It's ridiculous paying ~5euros for warm water).

This place denigrates the cow that gave up its life to feed us. I had more enjoyment from the McD's down the street which had hot fries and properly cooked meat. Super disappointed. Please save your money and eat elsewhere.

Food tastes great! Service was not as expected. They forgot to provide us with knives and forks u0026 I had to call over a server to get us some.

Would not recommend. Service and ambiance were fine but the food was disappointing. I was served a thin steak completely on its own on a conspicuously large plate and noticed right away that it was well done rather than medium. When I sent it back I did get a better cooked and thicker steak almost instantly. The lettuce at the salad bar was stale. I ate only a few of the small, stale crumbly nachos that came with a tiny spot of cheese sauce rather than actual melted cheese.

Overall it had a bit of a fast food feel. If you want a proper steakhouse look elsewhere.

Horrible place. The waiter was super friendly, however the chef doesn't know how to cook a steak. There was 3 of us, one ordering medium rare the others medium, what we were served was 3 rare steaks. The salad bar also looked like it was a day old, nothing seemed fresh. Would not recommend!

Went there yesterday. First, we waited for the waitress to notice us and bring us some menus. Then we waited for her to bring us forks, knives and all this stuff but eventually we just took them from the table next to us. After that, we ordered our food (tasted nice), and also ordered some ketchup which we never got and had to get ourselves. What was the worst, is that we said we wanted to pay, waited for like 15 mins, nobody came to us, so we stood up and there was still no reaction at all!!! If we went away, nobody would notice. So we had to actually come to waiters and ask to pay!! Unacceptable service and even nicely tasting food will not save it.

We came during Christmas time. The place had a few guests at 16h. We were promptly seated. The waitress got our drinks in less than 10 min. Got our order and left 5 min latter. At 16:50 we got our food. My flank steak was a day special. Amazing. My mom and wife got a huft steak with champion and wild rice. My son a steak and fries. All of them liked it.
Why 4 ? We asked for an English Menu and took her our drink order to get it. Instead of bringing it right away we had to help mom with her order. She could have done this in less than 30s. The menus were a few steps away from our table. My son was a bit loud and she shush him in front of me even though she saw me talking to him.
In conclusion, the standards were met and we had ours very high since we came from an amazing restaurant in Aachen (Parsley) with an amazing steak.
