The Malakoffturm was fort that was part of a chain of forts that defended the river. it's not actually possible to visit the tower and you can only look at it from the outside, which is a bit boring after a minute. It's okay. It's a nice bit of history, but I wouldn't go out of the way to visit unless you have a lot of time.

The most important for me is the music collection and the vibe. Both of them are wonderful. The beers are tasty and the prices are explainable ???????? ????

Great beer garden with great view????
A small choice of high quality drinks. You can also bring your own food and enjoy it with a drink here. Nice music too

The Malakoffturm is a gate tower constructed in 1848. It combines an ornate gate tower and a two-storey artillery tower which guarded the entrance to the old Rhine harbour.
