Nice place to sit and drink. Shame they bring you an 0.3 Alster beer when the menu only states 0.5 only. They only charged for a 0.3, but that wasn't what I wanted. They should ask if it differs from the menu.
Futher to the reply from the establishment. They understood fine and said we could have another afterwards. That wasn't the point though. The point was if the menu states 0.5 that's what you expect. Customers can't guess. Anyhow, other than that it is a very nice place to have a drink.

I’m from South Korea for Gamescom 2022. And this place was so cool. I loved it. Great view, kind service, nice breeze, fine beer and all.

Classic no nonsense beers and friendly staff. Great shelter from the sun on a hot day. Went there a few times ;)

Probably one of my favourite bars in Cologne. Perfect for sunny days. Next to the chocolate museum by the river. They serve draft Allgäuer Büble beer, which is reason enough on it's own to pay a visit. Very relaxed on food. You can bring your own or buy chips, bratwurst etc at the little snack hut next to the beer garden.

Nice views on the river Rhine, the chocolate museum and the many bridges. Tasty German beers and other drinks on the menu. You are allowed to bring your own food. Prices are ok, partially a bit pricy.
