The Ibis "Budget" is a advertised... a butter hotel.
It is a bit of a shock when you think you booked the Ibis hotel that is 40 Meters away.
It delivers on budget!
Rooms are small and sparse. You get 2 towels, a bar of soap and multi purpose wash in the shower and that is about it.
Yes it has a very small tv (no English channels) , the room actually would sleep 3 if you were a happy family. They have built a bunk bed above the double bed that can hold up to 100kg. However the fixed ladder gets in the way for anyone sleeping on the left side of the bed below. Floors are all vinyl, so I would recommend bringing slippers.
The shower, is a few feet from the bed in a unique setup. The only thing that is Spratt is the toilet closet.
You will not find a hair dryer, iron or any other amenities. A fellow guest was able to get a hairdryer from the front desk but it sounded like it took some discussion. Also don't bother to ask to barrow and umbrella, as that will set you back €20.
With that said, it works well for a single person.
The breakfest, which I had included for about 9 euro was also basic.
Choice of breads, but don't count on the toaster working. Fruit and plain yogurt, 2 types of sliced meat and 2 cheeses, hard build (and colored eggs), a selection of whole fruit, some cold cereal and milk options down at the end and to to it off two coffee machines. Nothing is warm except the coffee.
The staff keep the breakfest area very clean and organized.
Over all not a bed hotel or room or breakfest... you get budget!
I would stay here again if traveling alone.
