Very close to the Dom. Walking distance would be enough for a day tour or two. The room setups are reasonable to the price and location.

they don't accept to hold bags the entire day of the check out to allow us to visit the city for the last day

Stayed here for 1 night. Friendly staff, the room was clean, the bathroom was very clean. Just like the beds. Yeah, you're close to the Dom and you're in the inner city. So, don't expect 0 noise in the night/morning.

Like this hotel. We arrived at late night, and manager was kind and provided us room really fast without any problems

Given its location next to the cathedral, don’t expect great luxury for the budget rate you pay in this hotel. If you are not bothered with the 80s design or outdated service, this is the place to be as the room is clean and breakfast is OK.
There’s airco in the room, which I did not try as my room was at the backside of the hotel u0026 I was able to sleep with the windows open. The bells of the cathedral will wake you up early but that was the only noise I heard during my stay.
Obviously this hotel does not have a parking space but there are underground parking lots nearby.
Personally I prefer a more contemporary hotel to really enjoy my stay but this time I was on a budget and in that case it’s probably one of the better choices in Cologne

Stayed here during Christmastime. The rooms were clean, bed comfortable, and staff very accommodating. I had a last minute reservation and had to check-in in the early morning. They got me into the room without fuss and really set me up to enjoy my stay in the city.

Next time I visit Cologne, I'll check this place out again. It was a great value for the money spent.

Amazing location, literally a couple of minutes away from the Cathedral and from Cologne Central Station. Breakfast is good and varied. Rooms are clean and all is working. Will need some updating soon though. Overall a good stay.
