Popped in for lunch after touring the Cologne Cathedral. Sat outside enjoying the sun and food. I really enjoyed the Ruben with a fried egg. The meatballs were tender and delicious. Tucked into the small square here, it’s a gem.

Great location, very good service, friendly waiters, and very clean inside. From drinks I liked cocoa with cream, very tasty. I took pasta with beef, mushrooms and bacon to eat, it was not tasty.. I didn't even eat half of it, it was too greasy and too salty, the products didn't combine with each other, even the mushrooms weren't appetizing. And the rest is fine. Took 1 star cause of the meal, I don’t think it’s worth 21€ for this.

I stopped here two times during my trip to cologne, once just for a few glasses of wine as they have a very well curated wine list with some great German options and other international varieties. The second time I came back for lunch and ordered the Tiger Shrimp Salad which was phenomenal!! In addition, my server, Marie was excellent. She was friendly, funny, and made my experience there very enjoyable!! Can’t recommend enough.

The restaurant, with their friendly and polite waiters and waitresses, offers an excellent service. Tables are clean. Cutlery, glasses and plates shine without any dirty spots.

The dishes are tasty and one can notice that the food has been cooked to its perfect point. Drinks are wholesome too.

The WC is a bit tiny, but easily accessible and clean nonetheless.

It feels great to have lunch there!

Enjoyed an evening meal on Sunday at this restaurant. It offers seating both inside and out and no reservation was required. The choice of food and drink on offer is excellent and price is reasonable, especially being located where it is. I had the salmon ravioli dish myself and it was one of the best salmon dishes I've ever had. Enjoyed cheesecake and an Irish coffee for desert which were also delicious!

I didn’t have any food, just stopped in for a couple beverages but they were both really good. The waitress was really nice, I’m learning German but it’s not very good, she understood and spoke English when I needed it and German the rest of the time.
Edit: I’ve stopped by here a few more times, the food and everything else I’ve tried is also really good! Service remains very friendly! It’s never terribly busy, and it’s very comfortable seating, not crowded like some other restaurants in the area! 10/10 would recommend

Excellent place to relax, eat and drink

I had an unexpected visited to Cologne arriving on a Sunday afternoon and needed some nice and not too costly to eat in the evening.

I saw this bar/restaurant in the afternoon and decided to eat there in the evening.
Lovely place. Efficient staff. Calm ambience and, in addition, the food was of an excellent quality at reasonable prices. I had the delicious spaghetti with lentil bolognese sauce, and a wonderful 'sharp' lemon tart. Half pint of beer, main dish, lemon tart + coffee came to 26 Euros. Highly recommended.
