The photos of this place are not accurate in the slightest, it was probably a fairly good hotel 10 years ago but its outdated and very basic. Booked a double room with a double bed and have been put into a twin room that was dirty on arrival. Towels dirty and bathroom smells terrible. The pillows are the worst i have ever had in a hotel. The attitude of the hotel staff is pretty bad too, I was basically told I was wrong despite showing them my booking which clearly says a double room with one double bed. There was nothing they would be able to do as the hotel was full. Not good enough after paying over $4000 for a one week stay. Breakfast has been the only good thing so far. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Was here three years ago. Just got a chance for review. I had nice experience. Reception staff were friendly. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Good mattress. Breakfast is fabulous. The people who is working for breakfast serving are really nice. It’s close the to the cologne cathedral Dom. Just a minute walk.

Very good location only 5 minutes from the Cathedral. At arrival a pretty cold welcome that we did not expect from the receptionist and also we were asked to pay city tax despite that on Booking it was clearly saying that taxes and charges are included. On top of it we never got a receipt for this extra amount paid. An extra disadvantage was that for going to our room we had to go outside of the building. The room though was very big and nice, with a view to the cathedral.

Very pleasantly surprised, helpful friendly staff at this hotel which is so convenient being only minutes away from Cologne main line station. The room was very comfortable with nice bathroom, comfortable bed and fridge. Only complaint is there was no tea/ coffee making facilities. There was some noise disturbance during the early hours but perhaps only to be expected due to the city centre location. The breakfast was wonderful, buffet style and loads of choice. I would certainly stay here again.

Convenient location, close to the train station and the cathedral. Some nearby shops only accept cash. Breakfast is good. Room is clean and spacious. Staff is warm and welcoming. Some might consider its being very close to rails would be an issue.

Weird decor in the room. Also a lot smaller than any of the photos online! Some of the staff were quite cold. However it was clean and beds were comfortable. The breakfast was very average, yet very expensive. It would be cheaper to eat out.

Very good location, close to main station and quiet place. Staff is friendly and kind. They let me in the room before checking in time. The room is comfortable but there is no desk.
