I was glad to find hotel in the center with good reviews, BUT the toilet and shower were left unwashed from previous guests. Cleaning powder was left in the shower with a hint “wash it yourself” I told about this to the receptionist to ask staff to clean it , but when I returned in the evening, the hair was in the same place, still the same short thin ones. And what is most surprising, the cup that I received as a gift disappeared from the table where I left it. I understand that it could be accidental stealing, so I immediately told about it tthe receptionist and he waved it off, saying that I should come in the morning and resolve this issue with the manager. Ok. Unwillingness to resolve customers requests, layered dust above the head, stinky toilet. This hotel has a lot of pics of their famous guests, I suppose it is the only thing left of their glory.

Nice small hotel and only 8-9 min walk to cologne cathedral. Other shopping places in cologne is also walkable from this hotel. The staff was very helpful. Hotel has it's own parking and costs 14.5 Euro per night. The breakfast was outstanding. Definitely recommend this hotel. Don't use google map for the hotel entrance since it brings you to the back side of the street.

I had to cancel the day before due to covid. The cancellation policy though booking didn't give a refund and booking told me it is up to them to provide an alternative solution. They didn't respond to my messages and booking told me that they didn't wish to provide any partial refund or alternative dates. This seemed quite unprofessional behavior.

Rooms are super small. Needs refurbishment. No free parking.

This was by far one of the weirdest hotels I've stayed at. First off the location was great, and the service from the workers was great. Room quality was on the contrary though. The beds were way too firm and the pillows are horrible. Bathroom size was okay but the shower pressure was too aggressive. Best to say you get what you pay for, and if you end up staying here enjoy and bring you're own pillow!

Clean, comfortable and very close to the centre of Cologne city. Even though its only 5 minutes walk from the old town, the location was very calm and quiet. Good breakfast, but there is no bar or evening meal, but with the old town so close, it isn't a problem.
