Yes, it is true that you can pay only using German credit card or cash. And stuff is not unfriendly for a non-German person. They are just doing their normal job without being too overwhelming. My husband liked his dish I liked mine. The chicken could be cut in smaller pieces cause it was chewy but the sauce was great. I loved the wheat beer they had. I give it 4.4/5.

I suppose as an American do not order steak in Germany. First it came our raw then we'll done. My dog will like it.The waiter was marinated in cologne and not very attentive. I did not feel like a welcomed guest.
Normally waiters ask if you like coffee or dessert when they take your plate. This guy came back with the wrapped meat for my dog dropped it on the table without a word. Didn't ask if I wanted another beer not paying attention to my empty glass.
When i complained to the guy in charge i got an argument that he was busy........there were only a few tables when i sat down so that was a lousy argument.
I will not be back

Stay away! We arrived in Germany today and went to this restaurant because it looks nice, is close to the water, and part of the campingsite where we are staying. We ordered a big meal, but then the waiter told us they only accept payment in cash or by a German debet card. They do not accept credit cards at all. We find that very strange.

We had no cash, so we had to leave without any food. We told the waiter that this was really bad, but he shrugged and told as that it was not his problem. There was no willingnes to try to find a solution, even though we are guests at the campingsite.

We were here about seven years ago, and I'm convinced we would have paid with a card then. Today they advised they only take cash. In our humble opinion, it is unacceptable today to not accept cards, mainly when dealing with a transient holiday market - as per the reviews.

The attitude at the time was poor; however, any owner worth dealing with, having seen the consistent comments about payment, would have done something about it. I'm guessing that handling cash is somehow better for their profitability.

Great place. Very polite waiters, despite Corona pandemic. Food hot and Drinks great and served correct eventhough we were in a big group. Must come back in summer to enjoy the view on the lake.

Very nice place and location, beautiful terrace view, nice and tasty food, BUT absolutely unpolite and rude waiters which spoiled our visit!! Really unpleasantly surprised and incredibly disappointed by their attitude which left a bitter taste????

Food was ok but really unpoilite waiters I was told when the German guests leave then I must leave also was treated like I wasn’t wanted there the people running the place are not Italian and they don’t know much about Italian cuisine also I sat outside for a few minutes to smoke a cigarette and there was a few rats running around not to pleasant for a restaurant.
