Vapiano is for sure me and my family favourite restaurant in Bonn so far.
Central one has a really good location, a few meters distance from the main central station.

The place is really big, 2 floors building with lots of tables, so it is quite easy to find a table any day and any time.
The food variety is really good, and can cover lots of different tastes in Italian food.
There is pizza, pastas, soups, salads and also some antipasto.

The kids menu is really great, relation quantity price is amazing, a kid pizza or a kids pasta plate cost you less than 4 euros, and if your kids does not eat that much, one plate can be enough to fill 2 small kids.
Also soup, the small size is quite generous, and comes with bread slices and cheese on top.

Personnel is quite nice, maybe just little bit hard to understand in English if your German is not that good.

There is elevator in the building, so can easily access to second floor, with kids prams, etc.

TIP: On the second floor seating area can see the chefs make fresh pasta some times ;)

And my kids favourite, the Haribo lollies in the cashier 

Like a cosy corner in your house. The taste was really nice and 'Italian' style. Somehow I feel a portion was too big for me.

The food is not bad, but the fast-food concept seems to me not working. 2pm and you have to wait 20 minutes in the queue to get pasta and children pizza mixed with another type and burned :(

Being served a very filling delicious vegan pizza as for a one person but actually it would be for two.... But the service is not fast.

Nice ambiente and so much space to sit and relax. The food is freshly prepared in front of your eyes. The staff is super nice and helpful.

The pizza we ordered was perfect. The dough was perfectly done, crispy and tasty.

It's great for a quick snack, too. The prices are affordable.

Food is usually good, but service is essentially non-existent. This is a cafeteria type of environment, so it's a bit noisy and chaotic. If the atmosphere was like a normal restaurant, I would say that the prices are reasonable, but in a cafeteria setting, the prices seem high. If you're looking for a good meal in a pleasant atmosphere, then this place is definitely not for you. However, if you're just hungry, and you're with a few other people who all want something different, but can all agree on Italian, then this might work. Kids seem to love it.
