Vapiano is for sure me and my family favourite restaurant in Bonn so far.
Central one has a really good location, a few meters distance from the main central station.
The place is really big, 2 floors building with lots of tables, so it is quite easy to find a table any day and any time.
The food variety is really good, and can cover lots of different tastes in Italian food.
There is pizza, pastas, soups, salads and also some antipasto.
The kids menu is really great, relation quantity price is amazing, a kid pizza or a kids pasta plate cost you less than 4 euros, and if your kids does not eat that much, one plate can be enough to fill 2 small kids.
Also soup, the small size is quite generous, and comes with bread slices and cheese on top.
Personnel is quite nice, maybe just little bit hard to understand in English if your German is not that good.
There is elevator in the building, so can easily access to second floor, with kids prams, etc.
TIP: On the second floor seating area can see the chefs make fresh pasta some times ;)
And my kids favourite, the Haribo lollies in the cashier
