The room was unspectacular but the bed was possibly the best hotel bed Ive slept in and it was truly quiet even on Saturday when they seemed full, which is really rare I have found in my many hotel stays. They have a nice little steam room and sauna available for guests which is wonderful. The gym is marginal at best, a treadmill, 2 bikes, an elliptical, 2 machines that only allow military press and bench, no free weights. The preceding got the place to a 3.5 star kind of hotel but honestly the staff has been wonderfully friendly and the restaurant is legitimately good. Not ok for a hotel, its good and the staff seems experienced, knowledgeable, and great at their job. The breakfast is great but its a buffet so kinda hard to screw up. Overall, not in love with Bochum but I do like this hotel.

Must have been a great hotel once, now a bit run down. Bathroom had the tiniest specks of mold on the ceiling, and the sink creaked when you put any weight on it. The smell was one of cleaning solutions layered over years of use, sort of musky. The staff was impeccable to a fault, very friendly and efficient. Linens and towels were clean and crisp. Overall a nice stay. Beware of buying breakfast there, it costs 20 Euros...

We actually just had dinner in the restaurant. The staff were super friendly. The menu has things like large cheeseburgers and sandwiches. I really enjoyed it. They have a good selection of drinks, unfortunately I was the driver or I would have sampled one or three. The outdoor area was peaceful. The prices were reasonable too. I think the giant burger loaded with bacon etc was around 11 euro with fries.

A new and enjoyable experience
Excellent hotel
The reception and lobby are good, the rooms are fairly small, the hotel is about 6 km from the city center, the place is very quiet except on saturdays and sundays the bar and lobby are full of people. The standard of the hotel is luxurious and the visitors are very attentive. The view from the room was bad.

Lovely room with some space. The place is nice and you get everything you need in your room. I really enjoyed my stay. For Pokemon Go players : there is many pokemon gyms around the hotel :)

Nowadays, when internet it's a must, there are still hotels in Germany charging a fee to get you online, while you're in your room. This is one of those hotels.
There are free parking spots around the hotel, but most of the time it's hard to find a spot, due to the residential area next to the hotel.
Parking in the garage costs 1EUR/hr, or 10EUR/day if you're using it for more than 10 hours.
Front desk staff is very friendly.
Breakfast is fabulous.

Modern 4-Star hotel with nicely decorated public areas and rooms. Breakfast buffet was phenomenal and the service outstanding! Parking during events will be extremely difficult, but at other times very good.
