Overall it is a good hotel but a bit far from the city center. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and nice. Although the location is a bit far from the city center, it is a good location. Good public transportation connection.

This is a nice hotel but not a "four star" hotel. I have been to many 3 star hotels which are way better than this. There is not any four star feeling in this hotel. The bed and pillows are soft and cozy. However in the 3 person suite, the extra bed is okay not that comfortable. It is a big hotel and there are only two elevators so it is quite busy. Also the elevator is quite noisy. Our room was next to an elevator so it is very noisy at night. In the 3 person suite, there is no door in the bathroom. I would understand if there was no door in a 1 or 2 person room but in 3 person room it is a bit awkward. The rooms are not very well maintained. The AC is very noisy. I couldn't sleep with the sound that AC made so we switched it off. Also the light in a bathroom mirror was not working. The paint of some walls were worn off. They offer very less things in the room. Less toiletries. They have a nice restaurant downstairs which helps but on the flip side there is absolutely nothing in the room. There is not even a water boiler in case you want warm water. They have some customer discounts with vague rules and staffs seems to not know about those rules. So they are not able to help you with this.

Overall, it is a fine hotel. The breakfast is good, and so is coffee. The rooms are clean, and beds comfortable. The wifi is pretty miserable - when it works, it works, but when it doesn't... The elevator is super outdated and you have to wait long to get a ride, while the stairs are a nuisance (not a simple stairwell). The corridors could serve as a setting for q Stephen King novel, but all in all the hotel is acceptable.

I'm giving it two stars instead of three because of repeated incidents with security. One of my friends had someone break into her room. Another had someone break in AND tamper with the safe. The cleaning staff left a room key to a different room in my place.

For a 4 Star hotel some areas could be cleaner. Breakfasts was good so are the other meals.
Nice and quiet. Transport tram and bus 100 meters away. Underground also close.
When full trying to get a lift down to ground floor during morning meal and check out can be an issue with one small main lift with two lift entrances. Taking the stairway can be tricky and getting lost in the surrounding buildings will happen on your first attempt. A second goods lift is available, but ground floor gets you into the driveway between other buildings. You then need to find your way back to reception.

Let me start by saying that this hotel does not deserve a Wyndham franchise. The rooms had old carpets with stains of god knows what, bathrooms smelling of mould, and paint peeling off the facade of the building and the rooms. Their classic rooms are still a bit better than the modern rooms. The staff is overworked and do their best to help you. The security guy (or so he seems) who roams around at the evenings and the night is a total joke and felt no problems in taking out a pack of smokes and smoking right where guests are eating or drinking in the courtyard. I thought this was a 4 star hotel but it does not even deserve 1. The receptionists were very very helpful and i felt really disappointed that they had to get overworked to the point of exhaustion. But they always had a smile on their face. And if this is not enough, you are literally welcomed into the hotel with a graphiti on the hotel gates. The owner of the hotel i guess is busy counting bills while the guests are sitting in the heat. And if this is not enough, the airconditioning was not working all over the hotel, and they did not have enough fans. However, the folks at the reception really took care of that after the first night.
At the end of the day, the onus is on the owner, the hotel staff(those who really diligently work) can only do so much to hold the pieces together.
I daresay that Wyndham should send a secret guest to check the hotel's compliance to use the Wyndham name. Location is not very nice, I would recommend Checkpoint Charlie or the areas around it instead.

Generally good although the washroom shower curtain can use some deodorising as there is some remnant smell lingering.

Bed is clean. Do note that there is no air-conditioning (I.e. cooling) but heating via radiators built-in.

Location is quite a distance away from the central region of Berlin. May have some accessibility issues for those not driving and depending on public transport.

The first star is for the breakfast and personal, the second for the bed, for we did had a good sleep on it. I have been traveling the world for many many years now… From Manila to Marrakesh never have I experienced a 4 star hotel being in this condition… There was NO mini bar, drinking water, water cooker, slippers, bathrobes or not even a small iron, just a big NOTHING. We didn’t even care about not having an Aircon, but not having at least drinking water!¿? Even a 2 star hotel have it as a complementary. The breakfast was basic, but it was filled regularly, the small plates made sure no one filled their plates unnecessary. It was very loud on the corridor during the morning when they started to clean the rooms. I added two pictures, two pictures that will show you that this hotel isn’t a 4 Star hotel… btw the room plants all over the hotel was just saddening to see…

Arrived at the hotel in the evening of 05 Jun 2022 for a one night stay. Basically the room interior is rather old, looks alot like from the 1970s decor. But as we were too tired after travelling the whole day from Singapore.. we dropped into sleep like a log ????
