A great place to see the city - for those who are strong enough to climb the winding staircase of 285 steps.
On the base of the column is a small yet impressive miniature model musuem of the city's monuments.

Historical landmark.
Need cash to go up the stairs of the tower from inside. I imagine views would be fantastic. I didn't have Euro cash so I was grounded. ????

4 euros addmission fee for an adult, defenetly worth the view! But be aware there is no elevator but only (!) 285 steps to go all the way up, and down. At least the staircase offers you some stops with a small seat to get short rests.
