This was my first time in Berlin and first experience at Cinco, I use the word experience because that is indeed what it was.

We chose the more expansive tasting menu with wine pairing and it was amazing! Every course was perfectly paired with wine and exclusively delicious. We took our time and enjoyed a luxurious three hour dinner which ended with a wonderful cheese selection. The serving staff was amazing, each course was served with respect, it was more a ceremony than a dinner, every wine was perfectly paired to each dish.

Truly a culinary experience that will be remembered with fondness. Every star of this five star review was hard earned and easily offered with respect and thanks to the chef! A perfect evening!

For being a Michelin star restaurant, the food was not impressive. In my opinion, there's a level of posturing going on, and they need to try harder if they're going to keep their star through 2020

We had an amazing experience. The food and wine pairings were perfect and the service excellent - I would highly, highly recommend it. We did the smaller tasting menu and 1/2 glasses of wine which was just the right amount of each. Worth 5 stars.

This is the clear case of a restaurant where the aesthetics take the dominant role and the gastronomy stays in the back seat. The design of the diner is impressive. However, once the menu starts, the food really does not match the venue. While the presentation is beautiful and captivating, the flavors lack depth. It seems like the restaurant was created for Instagram. Also, the price is way over the top.

Went here for lunch. I believe during lunch time it operates under the brand of the hotel it belongs to. Given that it's been 5 hours into wandering around the zoo, the place turned out to be a rest haven for my legs. The service was amazing — the waiter was very polite and friendly.

The food however left me with mixed feelings. The risotto was superb, albeit I expected the plate to be deep to accommodate a lot of risotto, which it wasn't: it was completely flat so there wasn't as much risotto as you would expect to get say in an Italian restaurant.

I also got tuna tartare which left me a bit disappointed. Do not get me wrong, the tuna was great and all, but the amount was ridiculous and it cost €17 or something of the kind.

I found the place to be too costly for the volume of portions served.

For a Michelin star restaurant, a lot must be improved. First of all, the staff called us during the afternoon asking for food intolerances or dislikes. We mentioned specifically that we do not like exotic meats like pigeon, veal or rabbit. We took the “grand viaje”, a 9 course tasting menu and guess what meat we have been served: pigeon! Also noted that 6 out of 9 served had mushrooms! Thankfully we love mushrooms but, honestly, it was a bit too much. The staff was helpful and friendly, but truly working under automated means. They presented the dishes very efficiently, but then we asked: “What fish is this?” No answer…
Well done for the sommelier. Great wine and champagne as a welcome drink.
In a nutshell, I could rate this restaurant better if it was not the fact that this is a Michelin rated restaurant, and therefore the price you pay requires more attention to details.

Excellent food with a flare. Been here twice and both times ordered the experience menu. The place is charming for a quiet relaxed date. Service impeccable and a fantastic wine selection. Definitely deserves its One star, and highly recommended.
