Fantastic Berlin Dining Experience! My wife and I walked into Shan’s Kitchen for a Saturday dinner during Easter weekend. We were seated by the sliding glass doors which provided a warm and sunny view of the concert hall. Our server, Feres, was a busy guy as he single handedly was managing the tables inside and outside. We ordered drinks to enjoy the late day sun and the ordered some plates to share: Persian Eggplant, Turkish Flatbread with Ceviche and Salmon Sashimi. Each dish was so tasty with varied spice and flavor that our palettes were treated to a spectacular journey! Once the restaurant slowed down later in the evening we were able to get to know Feres who is a very nice guy. He really made our dining experience special and we highly recommend Shan’s Kitchen when you visit Berlin!

Everything is ok here, but don't expect a wow.
If you're thirsty, I recommend the "Shan's Style" drink.
I like the outdoor seating in Summer with the view of Gendarmenmarkt.
I'd prefer if they didn't play music and let the guests enjoy the live classical music played by artists in the area; but I understand that artists aren't always there, though don't think techno music is a good choice ????

We had amazing breakfasts here twice while visiting Berlin. Kevin, our server, was stellar. Delicious food. Great coffee, too.

Food was delicious, we shared a "healthy salad" and a crispy nan with lamb and this was a perfect combination for a perfect light lunch. Nice glass of sauvignon blanc too, I would definitely come back for lunch.

Not sure where all the bad reviews are coming from.
We found this place on Michelin Guide. Food was delicious - good quality, interesting east-inspired style, well-prepared.. I particularly loved the aubergines and my partner the soup. Price-quality is really OK, and if you consider the location and view - it is actually even real cheap..
Interior was also stylish, we enjoyed spending the evening there.
Finally, service was excellent! Both waiters super attentive and careful, also polite.

Well, food was good and no doubt about it.
But experience with service and waiter was pathetic. I read reviews and with no surprise every second visitor wrote same experience.
Guy serving us was looking so rude and completely unprofessional tone. Owner should give a thought to train them a bit to avoid such damage
