Even though I was waiting there for 6 hours (because my kid needed additional examinations), I am satisfied. The nurses and doctors were kind, dedicated and co-operative. Almost all the staff know English which was very important to me as I am still a newbie in Berlin.

If there is 5+ I can give that, front desk staff even though they are old and prefer to speak german, they can understand english as well and can help you.
In terms of service I will give them a 3 star rating as I can understand that they were stressed out with lot of patients but still they can be a little bit soft.

There is nothing more that we as couple and as parents can expect.

Staff helped us throughout even though we did not speak German they tried their best to explain us everything in english, even calling staff that can speak English to talk to us.

On delivery day we reached hospital at midnight. My wife was admitted with ease. She had a normal delivery.

Post delivery she stayed in hospital for 3 days. Super clean room and friendly staff. Helped me and her throughout the process till discharge.

My advice if you are an english speaker Sana may be the best option for you.

this deserves addtional ⭐. I was transferred from a different hospital and mind you I have been in 3 ambulances in 1 day, it was not the best feeling. Im insecure with my German but managed. Arrived at the SK, around 12MN and waited for my doctor OB she spoke english and kind enough to do so. She was so nice, explains really well and thorough. Like she can be my friend that kind of doctor????.
Been here twice, for my daughter all good to say and my experience all good as well. The OB doctor made my whole experience that day better and safe. I felt cared for, going above and beyond. That feeling you really need when you are sick .

Side note, there were patients who were grumpy and challenging, but nurses handled it well. My German is not at best but they were patient.

Anyway, Id say so far my experiences here were good. Happy patient here

By far the worst hospital I have ever been in.
Disgustingly rude and arrogant behavior by all
staff and you will receive the minimum amount
of care possible. Avoid it at all costs.

We had a super bad experience with the birth department!
The way the team treat with a pregnant woman who is about to give a birth is unfortunate and very unfriendly.
I highly don’t recommend and pregnant women for this hospital. Not only they are unfriendly, they don’t know if they have gave the baby the Vitamin K or not! Super unprofessional.

I waited 6 hours long in emergency, who wait that long if the person is going in emergency ward?

Pathetic experience as I told them my problem but they did all the tests that they could possibly do but have not actually called the specific orthopedic doctor/ somebody who can treat my muscle pain.

My husband was waiting in other building because he was just told to wait outside, how can person wait in cold outside of hospital for 6-7 hours?

He was going to take water from corridor area as he saw other local(German) people were also drinking, when he started to walk to the water the receptionist stopped him and said in German"you can't drink from here go out and buy your own" (rascist behaviour). The local German infront of her drinks water then she didn't uttered a word but when my husband went there to drink she stopped and said rudely.

Already we are in trauma with the current situation happened to me and I came to seek medical care and this happens with us.Obviously certain sense of responsibility has to be shown we didn't asked for anything we are coming to take help because we pay taxes here and also pay for insurance and we are not staying here for free. We are more qualified matured and kind adults who are careful at every step while living as expat in a starnge country, people should understand that and show some kindness in this situation.

So if you are going in emergency then 5-6 hours is minimum waiting time if they don't undertsnad what is the problem with you, they gonna make all possble tests.
