Starters were bigger than expected and loved the mixed platter. I'm generally not a veggie person but the eggplant with tomatoes and bulgur was the highlight of the night. Lamb was good although nothing extraordinary for me but definitely completed the meal. I'll come back to order the aubergine again and next time try a different meat. (will reorder lamb again but not at every visit)

Instant classic. Great Turkish cuisine and nice people. Meat and bulgur and vegetables super tasty, but kunefe at the end steals your heart.

A good choice for a calm evening meal outdoors. The food is of good quality, but not always very authentic. The service was friendly, but the cleanliness could be better. They have a nice range of wine. The inside is a bit on the simple and dark side, but with athmosphere. Great ice cream next door.

We made some extraordinary memories here over the last months. This restaurant is a perfect contrast to the Turkish specialities we used to see in Berlin. A full stomach is guaranteed ♥︎

We live in the neighborhood and have visited Defne regularly for over 4 years. The food is delicious and the staff really takes care of you and make you feel at home. If you want real Turkish food and to be truly welcomed, definitely visit Defne.

Came back here after 5y. It is the best Turkish restaurant outside of turkey to my experience. One step down from fine dining experience. I had octopus as starter (oh my tastebuds for that tomato sauce) and alinazik for the main course.
