The pizza is tasty. Thin dough and crisp from the oven. We ordered with a bigger crowd but the food came quickly once ordered which took a while but still alright.
Keep in mind that you can only pay by cash here.
In terms of atmosphere the interior features many marker tags and posters. Could be cosy in a smaller group but there is a little echo in the room which makes it a bit harder to talk if you would talk to someone across the table.
Service was alright. Overall friendly but sometimes a bit too casual: making a joke that they only have two types of wine red or white.
Overall I like the food and would come back in summer to enjoy the pizza outside.

Tiramisu is an option you should never miss!
Thin pizza and chewee.
Good location to eat pizza and enjoy sunset and say hi to swans ;p

For me one of the best places to enjoy a pizza in Berlin, not ony because the pizza itself but the sorrounding and the atmosphere. I highly recommended to put in your list, won't be disappointed.

Great pizza. The restaurant is noisy so don't go there for a business meeting or romantic dinner. A wide variaty of pizza and they and quick to serve. Cashier only which is annoying.

Very nice place with very good Italian staff, they are always happy to recommend what to eat or drink. Restaurant offers really good Italian food, from pizzas to pastas. Atmosphere inside the restaurant is like your are sitting in some Italian city. Restaurant is near the river with very nice view on sunset.

We had Spaghetti and sauce...simple...and it's my favourite food...but it was fun...we got there just a little before closing time...the staff were funny..and interesting. It was a good place...the spaghetti was good..but sachet pepper. I don't think the Germans care about pepper..not like I do...anyway....if you are in Berlin you may like this place. It has the feel of Berlin but Italian too...it's busy..full of people...

I visited Il casolare after 15 years, and the pizza was still great. Friendly service and great atmosphere. A little busy there in the summer and not a good place for a quiet dinner. But if you're up for a vibe, it's worth it.
