Premier Inn Berlin City Centre hotel

Up until the last day I was giving this place five stars. When I arrived the reception staff were very welcoming. I had been given a room with a in room adjoining door and I am a light sleeper so I asked if I could change. This was no problem at all and they moved me to a quiet room at the back of the hotel. The room was spacious, well maintained and had everything you expect from premier inn. The bathroom was also very clean. The tv appeared not to work on any channel, I went down to ask if someone could look at it and I was just looked at, as if I had said something stupid. I asked if someone could check on it, but I don’t believe they ever did, it didn’t work for my whole stay. The tea and coffee was never refilled during my stay. There was no room safe which was surprising. However, the worst point was the last day. I woke to the sounds of someone hammering on my door, I thought the place was on fire and I needed to get out, or perhaps I had slept through check out. It was neither, it was 9am and the house keeping was continuing to bag on my door saying they needed to clean the room. I was even more gobsmacked when they asked for my room number on check out, meaning they knew exactly which rooms were free to clean. This made the stay bad for me, as I didn’t get the sleep I needed and it took me a long time to calm down after all the adrenaline. I have stayed in multiple hotels around this area and not had this issue, so will stay elsewhere next time.

Their motto is correct- everything feels premium except the price. Great rooms, locations, service, all for extremely fair rates. Would definitely consider rebooking if I need to be in the zoo area again.

Brilliant staff, a good city centre location with solid transport links, and cheap prices. The offer for drinks when you don't need a room clean is a brilliant move too! Absolutely perfect for tourists or anyone visiting Berlin.

I enjoyed my visit to Berlin.
The room was clean and comfortable, there were all I need. Staff were so helpful. The placement is great - 5 minutes from ZOO and metro. Highly recommended this hotel.

The hotel was amazing. We were impressed by the immediacy and warm service of the staff. Everything worked perfectly. In addition, the location was very convenient as it is located in the center of Berlin's commercial life, with a direct connection to all types of transport and just opposite the 100 line of buses that took you everywhere. We visited Berlin as a family and were completely satisfied with the hotel services. Of course on our next visit we will prefer the same.

I didn't expect this hotel to be so nice and modern after seeing the prices, I was really impressed. Our room was perfect!
Also, the staff was very nice.

The car park is tiny with a the same exit and entrance. Upon checking in, part of my group had placed their passports in their luggage and did not want to open up their intimates in the lobby with no privacy but saliyah was rude and confronting and would ignore that party member and refusing to give a key card until the passport was shown. We booked 2 rooms for 2 couples and most hotels only require the booking party to present their passport as its usually 1 passport per room. She was highly confrontational and rude and needs a refresher in customer services.
