I love coming here for oysters and drinks. It’s a Berlin institution with classic yet interesting vibes, and friendly service. The food isn’t great (especially considering the prices) so I don’t come here for meals. But otherwise I do recommend it!

The Food here is truly, incredibly delicious!
Even the free bread was way better than that of most of the bakeries.
The Service however is atrocious, really awful.
If you value Service higher than Taste, you should never come here.
I personally value Taste more, but I had to take off 1 Star nonetheless.

Absolutely awful service and the food made it worse. The bouillabaisse tasted like it was made of trash fish and canned tomato soup. Was honestly stunned. Came here for a special occasion and left in disgust. Remarkably similar to low quality places in Paris or NYC that are riding off of a reputation several decades in the past and know it. May they close soon and turn the place over to a decent business.

Great bistro, authentic feel and terrific atmosphere! The walls are decorated with paintings from local artists, accepted as payment by the owner, according to the story. Helpful and friendly French/German waiters. Had a terrific Cote de boeuf.
Definitely recommended!

It should be illegal to disrespect entrecôte like this. The asparagus starter was good though.

AVOID! this restaurant! The food is not nice french bistro food at all and is completely overpriced, and the waiters are extremely impertinent! I paid almost 40 Euros for a simple and small piece of meat without any sauce or garnish, the potatoes were greasy, the salad was not a nice salad but simple lettuce leaves with a simple dressing that you can get in any cheap restaurant, and when we asked for some bread the waiter reacted in an aggravated way, and when we got the bill several drinks were charged twice, and when we complained about the bill the waiter became even more impertinent and he started to talk bad about our table in front of everybody at the bar! We were extremely mistreated and ripped off for bad food! AVOID this place AT ALL COST!

The food was average and unjustifiable for the price. I had beef tips and dauphinois, and the beef wasn’t very tender. Octopus salad was refreshing but nothing special.
Served by four different guys for some reason, three were nice, one was incredibly hostile and rude.
Seems mostly a place to sit outside and pose. Having links to art world with a few nice drawings on the wall does not justify the prices or the lacklustre food. Don’t bother. Posers only.
