I had a truly bad experience with the administration/management of OrthoPhysio GmbH at Friedrichstraße 94. If you are not an Athlete or a famous person, don't go there!
- They kept rescheduling the date and time of treatment sessions on the basis that one of the their team member was sick or absent, which can happen sometimes, but should not happen that often.
- Most of the time they had to postpone the appointment 1-2 weeks after the original appointment.
- From 10 appointments at least 5 were rescheduled by OrthoPhysio and i believe that as a result of the irregularity of the treatment, and the long time span between session, there was no improvement in my condition.
- When i pointed out that i am not happy with their lack of capacity, and that they should hire more people or admit less people to treatment, they said no everything is fine.
- I always showed flexibility when they asked for changing appointments, and i am a busy man. On the other side they didn't show flexibility when my second doctor referral was 1 day late, and they did not admit me a physiotherapy session. They could have offered the session to be billed separately, they could have allowed me to access the gym without therapists supervision, but they decided to send me home and were very rude.
- After that incident, i asked to cancel all my future appointment, few week laters, i received an invoice with a penalty for not attending scheduled appointments (which i actually asked them to cancel in person). When i called to clarify the issue. They said they cannot cancel it on the phone and that i have to be there in person to discuss the penalty invoice, which i did on my own time without compensation.
Honestly, I blame the management of the company. But i don't like criticism for the sake of criticism: Here are some suggestions on how they could improve:
- They should take complaints that are made in person by the patients seriously. Instead of dismissing them right away.
- They should hire more staff or accept less patients.
- When rescheduling of treatment is inevitable, they should keep the therapy goals of patients in mind.
- They should not send penalty invoices to ex-patients, and be ready to compensate them for the time they have to come in person to clear it up when the mistake is clearly made
