What do you say about a German restaurant, owned by an Indian, serving Mexican/Steakhouse fare? Probably that it's a little confused.
For dinner, I chose the beef/lamb fajitas. The menu makes sure to mention the Mexican-side of the offering is "authentic". I would say there is very little authentic about it -- from the carrots/zucchini served with the steak, to the actual seasoning.
However, that's not to say it's bad. I actually found the fajitas to be good. I certainly found some Indian influence in the spices, and the squash/carrot mix on the fajita tray was not bad. I found the salsa to actually be quite nice, though I wish I had a large bowl with side of chips like we see in most Mexican places.
But, my biggest disappointment was lack of rice and beans. Even the most unauthentic Mexican places serve rice and beans. I was shocked to not see this come out. Frankly, I found meat+vegetables+3 tortillas needed a side of some sort.
I would not go back for Mexican. However, the dry-aged steaks looked absolutely amazing.
