The food was okay. Although drinks were not that good. Service was also very delayed. Maybe because of staff shortage.

I also felt that waiter was greedy as he himself suggested to add ~15% tip

Restaurant in top location not much more.
The Mio is located directly under the television tower. Some of the outside seats have the best view of the hustle and bustle of Alexanderplatz.
Most outdoor tables are equipped with environmentally unfriendly gas patio heaters.
The menu is equipped with professional pictures ... so that it is understandable in every language.
The service took our order quickly. The drinks lasted about 20 minutes. until they arrived at the table. I thought plastic straws can no longer be used? They still exist here. Our main courses would be served another half hour later. Hamburger schnitzel, Berlin currywurst, pumpkin soup (very salty) and pizza and co. set our table. The dishes looked nicer in the pictures. The quality is okay and can be assigned to the category of upscale snack bars. (Therefore price performance is still bearable)
The waitresses in the restaurant are like a swarm of bees, a bit uncoordinated but mostly friendly. (Cutlery was brought to us on request and after the dishes were served)
We were here for the second time. I think I'll consider a third visit.

Service was slow, waitress wasn’t particularly nice either. Ice cream came late, already melted and in 2 tea cups (order was for 1 person?!)
Cocktails also took time but were alright. Location is nice.

Food was nice but service was not the best. I give them 5 star because when I mentioned I was annoyed waiting, the lady sent us some drinks. If it was in UK, it was not acceptable but as I am now in Germany I learned service doesn’t really have a meaning here. So for German culture they get 5 star.

We came in 25 people who had already reserved tables. We firstly ordered drinks, and got them within a reasonable time. Then they came to ask for what we wanted to eat, and our food was now being made in the kitchen. Or at least I thought so. About 10 minutes later the food was brought to our tables, one or two at a time, but nothing was given to me. I asked where my food was, and they said it was on its way. Then 10 minutes later with still no food, a classmate of mine walked up to the reception to ask for where it was. 2 minutes later I then recieved my food. The food was not terrible, but nothing special either. Then it came to the payment. Their card terminal was out of order, so we had to pay with cash. I payed for both a friend and myself (due to lack of physical money) and it totalled to €42.4 and I gave a €50 note. The waiter then gave me a €5 note back, and said something like "is this okay?" Of course it isn't! With this terrible service you guys have given me, do you think I will be okay with paying €2.6 more than the actual price?! I then looked confused at him, and he gave me 2 x €0.50 coins more back. Still not enough, when I clearly could see that it he was not low on change at all. Very weird experience, and I will not be recommending this place to any in the future.

We were arriving quite late, around 9:30. We ordered the mix grill. It took them 1 hour to prepare the food.

At least all the food was good, oh no it wasn't. But at least all the food was hot, oh wait it wasn't. Most of it was stone cold.

At least our meal was complete though, oh wait it wasn't. They forgot the pork, the corn and the grilled tomatoes.

At least the meat was well prepared though. Oh wait the steak was rockhard, the chicken was pink (raw) and very tough.

At least it was fresh though, oh wait it wasn't. It was all frozen and re-heated for sure.

Thank god it wasn't so expensive though, oh wait it was 56 euros.

But we should have known since it's not their restaurant special, oh wait it was.

Terrible restaurant, waiters were nice though.

Food For all tastes, a big restaurant with many waiters, good service, but it's not a special place, a lot of people passing by, the smell of the street is not pleasant, that is, it's not a place I would come back again.
