We were shopping around for a good restaurant for a large party by the Hackescher Market and we are glad we chose Maredo. The staff immediately helped us in putting tables together and constantly checked up on us.

The steaks are incredibly well priced with very large/ healthy portions. I was given a hot stone so I could make my steak more well done if I so wished. The sweet/ salty fries were fried to perfection and the desserts were also delicious.

Sitting outside, the weather and air was great. A live performer was singing, making the scene dreamy/ idyllic. Would highly recommend this place.

We order wings, beer and a salad; it's delicious and great service as well as atomosphere, yes! We recommend this place!

One of the best steaks I've had, beef was very soft and tender. Highly recommend this place. Service was great too.

Located in the geographical centre of Berlin next to the S bahn. A good range of bars/restaurants with indoor and outside seating. A lovely location to sit, drink and eat as you watch the world go by. The food and drink available here will give you a real taste of Berlin and the German culture. I could not recommend more.

Had Mexican Fajitas. It was good. It was just a bit pricey compared to other restaurants around there.

Very poor experience. The restaurant looks lovely which is why we picked it out from a bunch located right by the station. We had a couple of hours to kill before heading to the airport and they had a fixed lunch which seemed perfect. Took the order, brought us drinks and then disappeared - for an hour. Walked past us loads of times and never thought to notice that we had not been served. Know that feeling when someone walks in ages after you and gets served before? Yes you do. Very poor service from the waiter who should be aware which of his customers have been waiting a long time. Eventually grabbed him and he blamed it on the iPad for not sending the order. Terrible. Food eventually arrived, mediocre at best, and we had to bolt it down and run. A disappointing end to an otherwise fabulous trip to Berlin.
