Two stars for the €18.8 all you can eat hotpot. The soup base is not really nice and the dish category is limited. The essential spices for the hot pot is extremely limited with mixed sesame sauce and hot chilli. Maybe this is some other style?

The service was fine but a bit slow tho :)

Very service minded staff and excellent food! We all had Hotpot and the variety and freshness of everything was just great. If we go back to Berlin we would eat here again!!

We went for a hotpot in June. The flavors bestowed upon us by the mass of spice grains dancing in the pot were savory although a little rough. The meat was ok and the vegetables were good. We ate to our fill and were sweating from the heat, and the chili ????️. The food experience wasn't impressive but it was certainly solid. And the owners were generous and welcoming.
Overall, I recommend this place for a casual hotpot with friends.

In a city dominated by Vietnamese food ????, Lucky Star is a rarity. Authentic Chinese food, friendly atmosphere. Plenty of non-meat options, even though the menu is unfortunately meat-dominated. Try the spicy cucumber ???? salad, it's delicious. Moderate prices considering the central Mitte location. Clear recommendation.

They will charge for the things that still on the hot pot Just keep that in mind. We had ordered some foods for the hotpot and managed to finish all. There were some left over in the soup and the waiter warned us that we will get charged. I mean understand the true intentions not to waste food. But you could tell in a nice way. Please tell it to customer before taking order and don't blackmail them with extra charge. We are your customers not you obligated money givers.

I love the all you can eat deal for Sichuan hot pot here. It’s a great price and the food is very delicious. I’ve eaten hot pot all over the world and this is one of the more simple offerings for hot pot ingredients but I’m okay with that because I just ask for everything (seafood, veggie and meat plates). I’m a regular here at Lucky Star and I’ve been dining here for 4 years since I moved to Berlin from NYC. They remember my name and my order preference for hot pot. This is family run place and I always have friendly customer service. Sometimes they are very very busy and the service is impacted by that as I see people mentioning slow service but they are still attentive and friendly when you request something on a busy night
