We visited Juniper last night and had a fantastic meal. The portions were huge, the food amazing and it was excellent value. The service was really warm and friendly and the chef even came out to talk to a particular picky eater and cooked a meal especially for him.

They have their own Juniper Gin which is also a must try and it's lovely to see owners who are so hands-on.

All of this and they have comedy/music on Wednesday nights! I have no doubt that this is set to become one of the best gay restaurants in Berlin. We will certainly return again.

A group of my Berlin gay friends took me to this restaurant because they said it was fun and the food was great . We had an amazing evening ...I'm not really a foodie but yes... the food was delicious . I am, on the other hand, a pleasure-seeker ... and this fun bar and restaurant ticked all the boxes . I met some new people and we had a terrific evening . Highly recommended for fun, food and frolics - and the best Juniper Gin cocktails in town !!

Came here on the 26th of December, there was almost nobody else but that says nothing about how amazing this place is. Great food, extremely friendly staff and overall the place gives off a cozy vibe.

The best gay restaurant in Berlin is a lot of fun and gives great value for money (all main dishes well under €20), it is really hard to beat. A great menu had us all ordering something different so we could best have a taste of everything .... it was all delicious. The Wine list is simple and clean - but also great value. It's on the ground floor of the Axel Hotel so the clientele is also easy on the eye ! Great for starting a night in Schoeneberg ....

My wife and I happened on the Juniper Kitchen a few weeks ago while visiting Berlin. We had an amazing experience! The food was delicious, the drinks were perfect, but the best part was the hysterically funny host/owner Paul! He kept us in stitches all night. He made us feel welcome and was extremely attentive. I will always include a stop or two to the Juniper Kitchen every time I visit Berlin. Heck, I may go to Berlin just to spend more time at this amazing establishment!

Juniper can only be highly recommended! In my opinion it's the best gay restaurant in Berlin. The staff is very friendly and even when there are lots of customers, you don't have to wait long for service. I don't think you can do anything wrong with any of the dishes; I have tried the chicken and duck so far and it was amazing...
Also the events are always very entertaining and a great start for a night out!

A really amazing restaurant in the heart of Berlin's gay area!
Already went there a couple of times with friends and we always enjoyed it a lot! Lovely staff, delicious food for a good price and great shows. :)
I highly recommend the Barbary Duck as a main dish! Don't miss the opportunity to try the "Irish Witch" for a drink. It's made with the restaurant's own Gin, which is one of the best I've had so far! And if you're still hungry afterwards order the Pannacotta as a dessert and feel like you're in heaven.
I'll definitely come back for more very soon. :)
