Used to be so much better. Now it's badly run, and very disorganized.
I booked to stay here, explicitly booking car parking. When I arrived, they told me that my parking space was actually in a garage 20 minutes away, and that they have no space available.
After finally parking in their distant sister hotel and returning on foot, I checked in and was charged the amount I thought was due. When I checked out 3 days later, they told me I actually owed an extra €50 because they'd "made a mistake at check in". I was made to feel very uncomfortable challenging this, so I just paid it to get out of there.
We asked for a kettle to be sent up to the room, which was totally fine, except they didn't bring any cups, or tea, or coffee or anything. Why would I ask for a kettle and not expect something to put the hot water in?!
Additionally, the one really good feature of this hotel - the roof bar - was closed for a private event during our stay, but nobody mentioned this during booking.
This place used to have a 5* review from me when I'd stayed several times pre-covid. But it's just so badly run now. Most of these problems could be solved by just communicating:
1. The parking garage is not *in* the hotel, but 20 minutes away
2. The price you actually pay at check in should be the price you pay. Don't demand extra payment on check out.
3. The amenities are closed during stays.
If I'd known these at the time of booking, I would have chosen to stay elsewhere, but instead I feel disappointed and cheated by this hotel. I will not be staying there again until they fix this mess of bad management.
