The staff was very friendly and the beds were comfy and rather large.
They have a fresh issue of Berliner Morgenpost daily.
The main downfall is that it gets extremely hot in the hotel. I travelled in May and I couldn't sleep without having my window open - I can't imagine what it would feel like in summer. There is no A/C, of course.
The room was somewhat outdated with old or not properly fixed furniture and stains on the carpet and walls. Based on the pictures on the website, I can see that some room look more renovated, but it wasn't really my case.
The hotel was missing a few "hotel" attributes: cups/mugs/glasses, a "do not disturb" card, and most importantly - overhead light. I only had one source of light in my room, which was a table lamp next to the entrance door. There were a few light switches around the room, but no light that they would operate - odd. Some sockets weren't functional either, so I only had one source of electricity in the room - next to the said table lamp far away from the bed.

Great location right next to the U-Bahn. Decent service, pretty mediocre rooms. It was okay cheap so that's the trade-off.

Really nice hotel with affordable prices. Not far from the city center. Fresh, clean and tidy. I recommend and I will definitely come back. At the moment they don't serve breakfast as it used to be due to covid-19.

The room was huge and with a nice view. The shower corner did some weird noises all the time, but it was fine. Breakfast was decent. Building is old and we loved the wood decorations and doors. However, the receptionist lady wasn't at her mood.

It's just an 4th. floor of an old building and reception just in daytime, It's closer to the a "hostel" category than a "hotel". The location is not bad, (but in suburb) because there is an U-bahn sideline station close to this hostel. Only one lady spoke English.

There was no heating in my room for 5 nights and days and they didn't want to repair it. The staff didn't replied my questions and I get cold. The next day when the staff came back to the "hotel", they gave me radiator, that was the "heating" for those days. They didn't say "sorry" or anything just told meg arrogant comments, like "what's your problem, now there is a radiator".

There was no hot water for the last morning for hours. After this two guys (from the staff) not only knocked the doors but went to my friend's room meanwhile he was under the shower and they knocked there at the shower.

There was a weird noise from the toilet box, when you use that (any room!) or when you use water there. The carpet is dirty. The breakfast is exactly the same every day without any hot or healthy food.

The room was small but sufficient given we did not intend to spend much time in it. The beds were okay, but the double was not connected in any way so a challenge when sleeping with a wiggly child. Breakfast was the typical European spread. Most of the staff spoken some basic English. The evening attendant was not very welcoming.
