Although Hellweg Yorckstraße is technically hardware store, I come here usually for plants. It offers many different kind plants, from indoor plants, outdoor plants to water plants, lots of options for people who have different need. And they have every possible garden tools covered. The garden section took more than half of the store, it's really enjoyable to have a walk there. For plant lover like me, this is a great place to be.

You can also find some stuff, like pet food, aquarium, small animals, wall paint colours, bathroom, kitchen and so on. Info center just around the corner if you need help. The staff are friendly and helpful. It offers great parking place as well.

Literally the best hardware store on this planet! We had to custom cut "Fußleisten" at and they did not hesitate to help me out for such a little price! Excellent service, huge product portfolio and overall great atmosphere! The perfect place for every home or professional craftsman.

Contactless payments don’t work. Visa, and Mastercard payments don’t work. As Hellweg is quite large shopping chain with many malls it is barely understandable how they cannot fix their payment terminal so that they can accept modern payment methods again.

Not bad, not the largest selection of wood, but they have most tools one needs.

It was a good experience, albeit lackluster. It could use more variety, however, it's a decent substitute to Bauhaus and Ikea.

Looks dead and dated. Does not seem so relevant after a year of Covid. Imbiss is closed. Drink fridges are half empty. On the good side, there are definitely no lineups at the cash, but the products are mostly overpriced. Selection is poor. Needed urgently M6 and M5 screws. Paid 11 euros for 18 screws. Got later over 100 screws for 17.95 online.

Very rigid service, you can’t go to any info point asking for help.
After looking and not finding a specific product I asked for help at the nearest info point. I was sarcastically asked if I didn’t know I was in the wrong department, and was told to go to the next info point. It’s not obvious where you might find a heat resistant glue, or its corresponding info point!
I asked another employee on my way there who was much more service minded and didn’t just direct me to the next info point.
He made a call but unfortunately they didn’t have the product:)
