Having just moved to Berlin 2 months ago and temporarily staying in Karlshorst, I ventured out for my first restaurant meal here and it was so good...I had the schnitzel with pfifferlinge and those perfect potatoes...I was hooked. I came weekly after that, not just for the amazing food, but for the wonderful, friendly service as well. This became my home away from home away from home and I'm a bit sad leaving the neighborhood now, though I would be happy to make the trip out here for the wonderful schnitzel, perfectly crisp flammkuchen, heavenly roast duck and friendly smiles. Thank you, my friends, for making me feel so welcome here in Berlin!

Excellent local food, very good prices, especially for their 'Mittags-Menu', lovely friendly staff! Only thing: you can't pay with card, so don't forget to bring cash. ;-)

Great flammekuche restaurant! nice atmosphere and good service. Just a pity you can't pay by card. (only cash)

Since we live on the same street, it's always a nice place to spend the evening while having a beer and a schnitzel.

One of the first days over after lockdown.. spacious layout of the Biergarten.. friendly helpful staff.. nice atmosphere.

I was stuffed with their Schnitzel ! They also bring a salad as an appetizer. Unfortunately, it is difficult to communicate in English.
