Just so bloody cool. Me and my boyfriend spent around two hours here but easily could've been three or four if we'd had the time. We weren't sure what to expect, but we were definitely impressed. I loved all the interactive elements inside the museum, as well as the audio and visual elements. Really enjoyed looking at all the gadgets, as well as the historic elements of spies from all over the globe. The Bond exhibition was also excellent, especially from a British point of view. Also really enjoyed dressing up as spies (although my boyfriend wasn't impressed with the hat I chose for him). My inner nerd was well and truly satisfied, definitely worth the money!

A must visit for all people visiting Berlin Museums!! I have been to more than 10 museums in Berlin, and this museums outperforms others. Ranging from interactive puzzles to lab experiments, there were a lot of options to explore and solve the mysteries. Also there was comprehensive explanation for all the spy stuff used back in ages. A person interested in this spy stuff can spend an average of 3-4 hours lurking around the museum.

The museum is worth visiting. The museum lovers should visit it but not only. Those who like spy stuff or technology will find it really interesting. It's interesting how things that we think are high-tech today....like cameras communication devices and when you visit the museum you realise these were used in the 60's by spies with a very good performance back then. You can also interactive stuff. The staff is nice and helpful, they all speak English. Tickets can be bought online or on the spot normally the queue moves fast.

Bloody amazing museum! Mainly focused on the Second World and Cold war era of espionage, this museum gives a great history of spying, detailed information on all the pieces in its exhibitions, and it's extremely interactive: there's a machine that lets you print a message in Morse code, try breaking coded messages, find 'bugs' in an old East German styled room, mini lie detector and a laser maze to name some. There's lots to see too from machines used to encrypt messages in WW2, to gadgets and items used in the Cold War era to a few props from the James Bond films. The museum is also pretty cheap too. Honestly a great place to take children and history fans, or just for a look around.

The German spy museum was a pleasant surprise. I like most of you were not sure exactly I was going to experience when I purchased tickets for this museum. I liked the self paced exhibits starting with the early history of spies to modern day. I really liked the different things that they used for espionage from cigarettes lighters to bras. Thr other part I liked was how they made weapons out of benign things like walking canes. They had some really cool interactive exhibits for just about anyone. My favorite was they had a laser obstacle course and you had to be a spy working your way through a bunch of lasers and not get hit by the laser. Unfortunately I was not successful. They also have a place where you can dress up as a spy and choose different disguises and backgrounds to take pictures. Take a look at pictures and you will see it is well worth the time to visit the spy museum.

Very interesting museum about the history of espionage. There is a great chronological order and there is a lot of activities to do whilst in the museum. The tickets are a bit expensive and there was a big line for the ticket so it is highly recommended to buy tickets online before visiting.

You absolutely have to catch this one if you're in Berlin! What a brilliant museum.
Very informative about espionage around the world, with loads of fun hands-on exhibits and even a laser parcour to try out your skills.
It's very well curated and modern, presentation is top notch with everything available in German and English language as well.
Brilliant for children and adults alike!
