There are many people featured in this memorial museum, but there also weren't nearly enough people who were willing to make the incredible sacrifices that these individuals had to make. It says some amazing things about these few people, but also some really depressing things go unsaid about their neighbors and colleagues. This is what happens when the voices are not loud enough, when the voices are too few, and when the actions are too few and far between and just way too late.

This is an incredible museum about the diversity of resistance against Nazism in Germany. Here you will learn about the roles of women, youth, Jews, and even NS soldiers who fought to liberate Germany from Hitler’s dictatorial rule. They do not tip toe around the important topics here, and I appreciate their profiles on people like Georg Esler, who planned assassinations against Hitler. A must visit, free access. Takes about 2 hours.

A brilliant museum about freedom and the Germans who resisted the Nazis. A must see in Berlin!

This museum is free and has interactive reading points and very good books for sale.

I was shocked that not so many people seem to know about this museum, like I say, it is a must see in Berlin.

I usually get lost/bored easily but it was not the case here. Well structured museum with interesting content presented well.

Super recommended!

A great place for visiting when coming to Berlin.
The building is so big, clean, well organized and provide free tour-guide (book in advance for a big group).

The exhibit was very modern with an appropriate amount of information. From the very first moment it was clear that our guide knew the what she was talking about and who she was talking to (a group of foreign students). She was definitely one of best guides that I've experienced. Although we visited on a Saturday the place was relatively quiet. The stories about resistance against socialist Germany were well selected and interesting. The fact that the history has direct ties with the building was a nice touch. Great place worth a visit for all interested in history, told from a different perspective.
